Financial assistance to buy energy-efficient appliances

The No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) provides individuals and families on low incomes across Australia with access to safe, fair and affordable credit. There are no fees, interest or charges.

Household energy-efficient appliances grants

The Smart Energy Grants help Northern Territory owners of residential or investment properties undertake energy efficiency measures to their homes. The grants are run through a voucher system on a 50-50 co-contribution basis for up to $1,000.

Renewable power incentives (solar, wind and hydro)

Households across Australia that install a small-scale solar (photovoltaic or PV), wind turbine or hydro renewable energy system, or a solar or heat pump hot water system, may be eligible for a benefit under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme.

The Garden Tune Up Rebate helps Darwin households and businesses reduce water use and water bills by offering rebates of $300 or $500 for an irrigation expert to tune your irrigation system.
